Special Events

We rely on the support from our communities to grant as many wishes as possible. Event volunteers have the opportunity to participate in various ways to help us achieve our goals. Time commitment is dependent on the event, shifts are typically 4-5 hours and volunteers should arrive 15 mins before their shift begins in most cases. Responsibilities may include working on event committees, helping on the event day and/or participating in the event. Additionally, this could include hosting an event, or providing sponsorship leads to our development team. Storage of Personal Information

The Volunteer Engagement Team at Make-A-Wish Canada stores its volunteer files in a secured, online database. Access to all volunteer information will be restricted to appropriate MAWC staff and will not be made available to/accessible by/sold to any other parties.
