6. Matching Gift Guidelines
At Make-A-Wish® Canada, we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our supporters and the partners who amplify their contributions through matching gift campaigns. Matching gifts allow us to extend the impact of your support, helping us grant even more wishes for children across Canada.
To ensure transparency and consistency, matching gifts are applicable only to donations made to our national fundraising campaigns, which are centrally organized and promoted by Make-A-Wish Canada. Matching gifts do not apply to:
- donations to local or regional fundraising events,
- contributions to third-party fundraisers organized by external parties, or
- gifts made during corporate-sponsored initiatives that are not officially part of our national campaigns.
- gifts of publicly traded securities or other non-cash assets
Only donations received within the published campaign period qualify. Matching campaigns may close early if the match limit is reached or circumstances change.

7. Donations and Age Restrictions
By making to Make-A-Wish Canada, you acknowledge that all donations are assumed to be made by individuals aged 16 or older.
